For 5 years we had intended to open a burger bar which would separate itself from the traditional fast food stereotype which has become today’s standard. Finally, after a couple of property deals going wrong, we found the “perfect site” for the concept. The previous restaurant was going out of business, leaving us in a great position to negotiate a feasible rent.

The concept was simple: Uncompromisingly fresh quality Handcrafted Gourmet Burgers, made from 100% pure Angus Beef, served in unique surroundings. With not much of a budget, we focused on the product. Firstly going to all restaurants known for their burgers, and testing their take on the American Classic. Meanwhile we patched up the site the best we could with our limited funds, focusing on bringing its unique beer garden to life. Not an easy job, which is still ongoing today.

Then came the testing. From a couple of weekend BBQs, and a lot of trial and error, we knew we were onto a winner!! Badass Burgers have been through a roller coaster ride of angry chefs, numerous suppliers, World Cup madness, a delicious photo shoot, and a hell of a lot of meat to finally bring us to where we are today. We are not a foreign franchise, but a home grown concept that’s passionate about serving the best burger you can get your hungry hands on. Whether it’s our classic, flame grilled, 100% Pure Angus Badass Burgers, or one of our tasty alternatives, such as prawn and haddock, or rabbit and Maltese sausage, you’re sure to be in for a treat that won’t leave you hungry.

All our burgers contain only the freshest ingredients with absolutely no unnecessary fillers or additives. All we add are onions and a secret blend of herbs and spices that give our burgers that truly Badass taste. We firmly believe that perfection is a work in progress. If we’re doing something well, then we want to know how to make it better, so if you think we don’t have the best tasting burger on the island, we want to know why! Whenever there’s live gigs, the tables go aside and you can order your burgers at the bar.
